As a fourth-year Fashion Design and Product Development student at Texas Tech University with a 3.7 GPA, I am passionate about apparel product development and continuously refining my creative process. My experience as a Locker+ Associate at Amazon has strengthened my problem-solving, collaboration, and customer service skills while providing valuable insight into the retail and logistics side of the industry. I am committed to developing innovative, functional designs and expanding my knowledge of business, branding, and product development as I prepare for a successful career in the fashion industry.

  • Collaborated as part of a 2–3 member design team in Food in Fashion, an annual interdisciplinary fashion event partnering Apparel Design and Manufacturing students with one of the top local restaurants in Lubbock, Texas.

  • Researched the restaurant's history, mission, brand identity, and community impact to develop a fashion concept that authentically reflected its story and values.

  • Designed and constructed an original garment using restaurant-provided materials and supplies whenever possible, transforming unconventional items into a cohesive, wearable design.

  • Applied sustainable design practices by creatively repurposing available materials, minimizing waste, and demonstrating innovative problem-solving throughout the design process.

  • Worked closely with teammates to brainstorm concepts, divide responsibilities, manage project timelines, and ensure the successful completion of the collection piece.

  • Balanced creative vision with technical execution through sketching, material experimentation, patternmaking, garment construction, fittings, and finishing techniques.

  • Presented the completed design in a public fashion showcase, demonstrating the ability to communicate a compelling brand narrative through fashion while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Co-organized Nocturnal Creations, a collaborative fashion showcase between the Hi-Tech Fashion Group and Culture Club, a prominent nightlife venue in Lubbock, Texas, creating a platform for both students and local designers to present original fashion collections.

  • Developed an additional complete collection concept as part of the senior capstone, utilizing Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to create professional design presentations, including mood boards, color stories, fashion illustrations, technical flats, fabric and trim selections, construction details, and line plans.

  • Produced industry-standard technical design materials that effectively communicated garment specifications, construction methods, and collection cohesion for presentation and evaluation.

  • Applied advanced knowledge of apparel design principles, garment construction techniques, technical design, and visual communication to develop professional-quality collections suitable for public exhibition.
